A nice place but too small for a big party.

Interesting, friendly volunteer ' caretaker ' named Whimpy!

Great place for family time anytime they do weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and have nature walk very well hidden secret. They have great family across the street that is not associated but do cajun catering as well we loved the authentic seafood gumbo and the etouffe'e but they did also have a wide menu

Tried to visit this place two separate times and both times it was closed during what was supposed to be regular operating hours. Not notice was placed on their website or Facebook to advertise the unexpected closure.

An awesone place...not a ton to see in the museum but its very cool Louisiana history yiu dont always get to see or learn about. The grounds are suoer nice and its xefinetely worth a stay-cation visit or just a weekend outing so close to trhe city...go check them out !
